Edwin José Quiñones

Mr. Quiñones-Porrata has experience assisting telecommunication, energy, medical cannabis, and finance institutions, in their efforts to operate businesses in Puerto Rico. Mr. Quiñones-Porrata also represented these businesses interests before quasi-judicial administrative processes, such as the Medical Cannabis Regulatory Board, Telecommunication Bureau, Energy Bureau, and 9-1-1 Emergency System Bureau, among others. Mr. Quiñones-Porrata also advises clients on public policy issues and economic development projects.

Prior to working at our firm, Mr. Quiñones-Porrata worked as legal advisor to the Executive Director at the Puerto Rico State Office of Energy Policy (SOEP),appeared before the Puerto Rico Energy Bureau (Act 57-2014), served as main liaison with local legislative branch and government instrumentalities, collaborated by Renewable Energy Commission (Act 82-10), Green Energy Fund Program (Act 83-10), and Energy Savings performance Contract Program (Act 19-12), and assisted in the development of the government’s energy public policy.

Mr. Quiñones-Porrata will concentrate his efforts in our firm in corporate, telecom, energy, medical cannabis, and public policy issues.
